—The first marks, the breath between layers, the moments that decide the piece.
The technique I’ve refined for my acrylic paintings is called acrylic flow. A drop of silicone, a stir, a slow pour. White ground floods the canvas; color finds its edge. Blue drifts into orange, cells open under the torch, fractures appear and settle.
When I work, I’m guided by first impulses and I let instinct take over. That’s what makes these pieces quiet, intentional, and unhesitant.
The best pieces lean on heavy texture. They pause movement and trap it in time, offering dense forms you could almost pull out into a 3D world. They rely on an impactful color palette. These paintings are built to be lived with — daylight, night light, every quick glance.

Along the way, I finally found a print process and paper that are good enough to carry this work. The paper holds the sense of roughness and textural depth my originals have. Repurposing selected originals into museum‑grade prints keeps every hairline crack and glaze visible, while the originals still carry the full weight of material and time.
The right piece doesn’t shout. It settles the room. Let your walls tell a new story.
